Responsibilities

1. Installation and Commissioning

• Install new equipment or machinery at customer locations.

• Configure software and hardware systems to meet operational requirements.

• Test equipment to ensure proper functionality and customer satisfaction.

2. Maintenance and Calibration

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on installed systems.

• Inspect, clean, and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Update firmware and software as required.

3. Troubleshooting and Repairs

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, or software issues on-site.

• Replace faulty components and ensure minimal system downtime.

• Provide immediate technical support during equipment failures or emergencies.

🤝 Customer Interaction and Support

• Educate and train customers on equipment operation, care, and troubleshooting.

• Serve as the primary contact for technical support during and after installations.

• Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing clear communication and timely updates.

📋 Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare detailed service reports, including fault analysis and work performed.

• Log maintenance activities and parts used in company databases or systems.

• Track warranty issues and recommend system upgrades or replacements as needed.

🔄 Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with engineering, product support, and customer service teams to relay field insights.

• Provide feedback on product design and performance issues based on real-world usage.

• Coordinate logistics with supply chain teams for parts and tools

Qualification and Skills

Technical Skills

• Proficient in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

• Familiarity with diagnostic tools, electrical systems, PLCs, and control systems.

• Comfortable with using laptops or mobile devices for diagnostics and reporting.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice.

• Customer-focused mindset with a professional demeanor
