Job Summary

Field Support to Chroma Semiconductor Equipment

Test and optimize automated equipment in the semiconductor field
Communicate with customers regarding testing applications for automated equipment
Determine materials, equipment, and installation sequences to maximize efficiency
Define layout diagrams, orientations, locations, facility requirements, and building features for equipment installation
Assist with kit design and participate in design reviews for implementation
Commission equipment and verify system functionality to meet performance expectations
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, motor, and pneumatic systems
Perform calibration, installation, configuration, and recipe tuning of automated equipment
Identify hardware, software, or safety issues and provide feedback to the technical team
Identify design or assembly issues and provide feedback to technical or production teams
Provide training on system operation, maintenance, and calibration
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Manage preventive maintenance schedules and maintain service records
Travel up to 25 %

Must have current authorization to work in the USA
Knowledge of computer peripherals
Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics for troubleshooting and debugging
Ability to perform hands-on work using basic hand tools
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (EE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME) preferred
Bilingual preferred: English and Chinese
