The final competition of the IEEE International Future Energy Challenge 2025 (IFEC 2025) was held from July 15 to 18 at Chroma ATE's headquarters in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The event was co-organized by National Taipei University of Technology and Chroma. Seven student teams from the United States, Germany, Belgium, Poland, India, Serbia, and Taiwan gathered for an exciting exchange of technology, innovation, and international collaboration.
"Chroma has long been committed to advancing education and innovation," said Paul Ying, Chairman of the Chroma's Cultural and Educational Foundation.
"Seeing young people from around the globe taking on real-world engineering challenges with creativity and teamwork fills us with great excitement and pride. Hosting the IFEC 2025 finals at Chroma's headquarters is more than just co-organizing an event for us. It's also our way of giving back to the global technology and education community, and a great way to showcase the power of international collaboration and innovation."
The competition concluded with an awards banquet attended by distinguished guests from international academia, celebrating the students' technical achievements and innovative thinking. The IFEC 2025 Grand Prize was awarded to Warsaw University of Technology, Poland, with awards also going to the teams from Taiwan, Germany, Serbia, Belgium, and India. Congratulations to the winners!
