The Chroma A368005-HCDPS is a high-current, 4-channel per board Device Power Supply (DPS) designed for precision testing applications that require both high current and accurate measurement capabilities. Supporting functions such as FVMI, FIMV, DMM, current and voltage clamping, and gang mode, the board enables flexible and powerful testing configurations. It occupies two universal slots per board and allows for a maximum of 32 channels per system. Measurement integrity is ensured through a four-wire connection, providing accurate voltage and current sensing at the load point.

      Voltage Measurement

      The A368005-HCDPS delivers a force voltage range of +4V to -4V and a force current range of +32A to -32A, supporting high-current test requirements. It also offers simultaneous measurement of voltage and current (MV/MI), with a measurement range that matches its forcing capabilities: +4V to -4V for voltage and +32A to -32A for current. Note that the Measure I (MI) function is available with the exception of FN mode.

      Application

      For high-current applications, the board supports a current gang mode with slot-level grouping, allowing 2 to 4 channels to operate in parallel per group, with a maximum of 4 channels ganged together. This enables efficient power delivery and flexibility in configuring high-current test scenarios. Additionally, it features a high-speed Pattern Control Mode (Fast Mode) for rapid signal switching and synchronized testing, making it ideal for dynamic and time-sensitive applications.
